My 204 Handi is shooting pretty good!! I have some 40gr. V-max's on the way.  I have been turkey hunting with my 204 so far no turkey has met the 204.  I missed a small groundhog Friday at about 60 yards.  I thank i over shot it. I almost bought a 223 Ultra Varmint at wal-mart last night for $230 bucks.

My 204 Handi is on a boat somewhere... :(

However, in preparation I have purchased:

Simmons 44 mag 6.5-20 Mil Dot
Burris Sig Zee rings
Harris Bipod
Soft case

oh and apparently I need to take up reloading so have purchased a Lee Anniversary kit...:)

haven't bought any ammo.....yet!

Hope it's a shooter.

Better get an order for some of the .204 ruger Winchester brass that's available at Midway, it won't last long....

heh, paperwork for ammo and components is an issue quick so I think I'll break it in with pre-mix loads and take it from there. I was thinking of using .222 rem mag brass and fire forming it if I have to. Anyone had any experience doing this with the 204?

oh btw, thanks for the info the other day too quickdtoo!  :D

I would recommend sticking with the 32gr loads, haven't seen any 40gr factory loads that shoot well. Here's a link on fire forming 204 brass from 222 brass...
