I was looking forward to these binos when they first came out. I have since been able to hold and look thru them. A let down to say the least. This is not what I think of when I think of Zeiss. They were dim (compared to equally priced binos) and did not fit my hands well. A much better buy would be to get the close-out Nikon LX's.

Received my new 10 x 40 Zeiss Classics yesterday.    Only time in the field will prove it, but they sure seem perfect for my deer hunting needs. More money than I have ever spent on any optics, but I have waited a long time and my tired eyes need all the help they can muster.
