wild boar hunting in NY state

I like either Old Stone Fence in New Rensellear Falls NY, http://www.oldstonefence.com/ (and that is me in the pic),

or , Big Boar Lodge in Homer (no web site)

or Coldbrook hunts (also in Homer and I've not hunted there) http://www.coldbrookhunts.com/index.html.

I also like WildHill Preserve in Ely VT.  Worth the drive and I've hunted there 5 or 6 times. http://members.aol.com/whpvermont/page1.html


Of all of these, Steve Fobare from Old Stone is a great guy and I enjoyed hunting with him, though his place is really small and it's a one day deal.  Wild Hill is a traditional hunting preserve that is a bit more pricey, BUT, has a huge acerage, lots of animals, great food, real guides, hunting dogs etc.   I'm going in October with a couple of guys.  You're welcome to hook up with us if you like.
