300/310?  I've never heard of a NEF with rifling that deep.  I hope it's the case, it'd be just the ticket for cast, but I bet what you'll see is a 304-306/310.

Actually, you asked the people who OUGHT to know.  After several conversations with John, Jennifer and especially Gordon, the boss at NEF's customer service, I'm a bit sceptical about just how much they DO know.

That said, I do agree that NEF's customer service itself is definately geared towards satisfying the customer.  So, you might not like what you get from NEF, but if you're persistent they WILL make it right, they will buy back the rifle from you (new purchase) if you're not satisfied.  It don't get any better than that.

Maybe somebody already said, but when can we expect barrels and rifles in this caliber?

The last I heard was around JULY for replacement barrels.  Not sure when they will offer a complete package...but that is what I am waiting for.

I'll be waiting on the whole rifle too.  I think it's wonderful to have the versatility available to swap barrels on and off, but I prefer to keep a seperate frame per barrel.
