Does anybody make these bullets?  I have been searching the web and haven't found any.

Come to think of it, I have not seen any either.
Would be nice in a 44 MAG Contender.  :D

I saw some National Precision .44 caliber 240 grain jacketed spitzers on ebay a couple of weeks ago.    I emailed the guy who bought them because I was curious about what he was going to do with them, but he never responded.

What am I going to shoot them out of?  I am having a 44mag Contender Carbine barrel re-chambered to 444 Marlin.  It is at the gunsmith's shop right now.  I know there are spitzer bullets made in .458, so I was hoping there would be some in 44 cal.  I thought it might extend the range just a tad.  Plus, it would be very high on the "cool" scale.  By the way, I tried a search on National Precision Bullets and came up empty.  Seems like I remember an obscure ad in Shotgun News a few years ago by a company called Alpha or La Frank or something similar that had big bore spitzer bullets.  I tried that too, but didn't find anything.

Doc T:  Someone on one of these forums mentioned spitzer bullets for the 44 calibers.  I think the poster may hae made them himself with a Corbin setup.  He shot them through a bolt rifle converted to 444.  I too was interested in them but never got enough of a response to my questions to be able to go for it myself.  Sorry.  Mikey.

I went to Corbins website and they list a whole bunch of bullet makers and the diameter of bullets they make.  I am going to start at the top and work down.  Hopefully someone makes what I am looking for.

Hornady makes 265 flat point for the 444, and Precision did make some.
