Ranch Dogs Postal Match III

Ok gang, it is once again time for Ranch Dogs postal match. There is a match for everone. Open sights are shot at 50 yards, Scoped rifles with a max of 4x are shot in the hunter match at 100 yards, and there is a precision match for higher power scopes shot at 100 yards. ANY lever gun can shoot in the match so lets fire em up and sling some lead. Here are the links.

Big Med,

That fo-foty-fo sure does shoot.  I picked up a 444SS a few months back with absolutely beautiful wood.  I need to try it out with the XS Ghost ring for grins at 50 yds. for the Postal Match III.  You reloaders don't give me any room but I will still be there shooting my old 444S scoped with the Hornady or BB factory ammo just cause it is such a good shooter.

One thing for sure is that because of the previous 2 Postal Matches I have absolutely no doubt that when I aim at any game I will hit where I aim.  I have learned my rifle inside and out, can do my own work on it, and have shot so much ammo thru it during the Postal Matches that the confidence is there for me.  Maybe this year I can get that sub 1" group. :-D  :-D  :-D  It has become very personal for me. It is not about winning for me but I need to be the best I know how to be.

I agree it is not about winning. I shoot against myself every time I go out, trying to beat my own best score. But when I pull down on a deer in the fall....there is no doubt what the out come will be. I already have a stack of targets that are not good enough to send in   I want to see how this new 444SS shoots!

Lets see some targets from these leverguns guys.....Ranch Dog says we are at an all time low for entries. Not even enough to open the match. Fire up those rifles, print a target and send it in.
