specialty handgun--then this event may just fill your fancy
The first Handgun Class 1k match is coming soon--April 23rd (Saturday Match).
http://www.iowa1000ydbenchrest.com/ Probably the most fun is on Friday they open the range around noon to 1:00 and you can shoot the whole afternoon till dark at 1k, at clay pigeons and bowling pins. Plans are for my daughter to go with me and shoot in the handgun class. Competition rig for me is the rear grip XP in 6.5-284 and Kristen's will be the MOA in 6.5-284 (Using the Bower Rest System). Also plan to hunt some 1k "pigeons" on Friday with a Contender in 222 Rem Mag Imp. 1-7 twist and my XP in 6-284.
This is more fun than you think and it is a great group of guys & gals to be around.

The web page will also show other match dates and all should have the handgun class with the excception of the Nationals (Being held at Pella).
