I've been concerned for years that we are losing all that knowledge we gleaned from our Dads, Grandpas, and favorite uncles. I've started a website in an effort to preserve some of that knowledge. There's not much there right now but the brand-new forums, I hope to use them to flesh out the rest. I sure don't know it all myself. I'm not pushing the site hard, I'd rather have a few quality folks there than a bunch of "me too" guys. I thought the folks on this forum would be likely to have an interest.
The site is geared toward pre-1950 woodscraft, and while modern technology isn't forbidden I hope we can stay focused more on the old ways. If you've ever read authors like Nessmuk, Kephart, Kreps, Baden-Powell, Col. Askins, Angier and such, you already know what I have in mind. You can find the site here:
