(Okay note the fact that I live in East Tennessee) Every once in a while I help out at a local gas station. One day 2 guys from Flordia came in after there "first hunting trip" and told me and the other cashier they saw a kangaroo!!
And asked if they were Native around here :-D Needless to say they had a lil to much of that tennessee moonshine! :gulp:

CountryGirl,
You must be aware, kangaroos ARE native to Virginia and sometimes cross the border into Tenn.

I live in arkansas and there's a guy not far from here with some kangaroos running around on his place. Maybe there's someone close to you with some of them.

That is a big snake, but I suspect that is not a kangaroo, it is most likely a Wallaby.
And them Roos sure do eat good......mater of fact they were so good Jack-In-The-Box replaced the 100% beef patty and fed us Roo for well over a year.........I always wondered why I got a little jumpy after eating there.

i used to know a guy down here in georgia that swore he saw a "deer" standing on its hind legs and had short forarms and a long tail like a big rat
he said it was abt four foot tall maybe taller and when it saw him it jumped abt 10 to 15 feet down thru the woods with one big leap
and continued off out of sight
now this guy was born in the back woods down here with no schooling and didnt even own a tv he didnt even know what a kangaroo was when i told him it sounded like what he was describing
he said he was so amazed at it he didnt even think abt the gun he was holding in his hands
lol
