Bear in mind, also, that you can't use just any scope on a spring-powered airgun ... especially the higher-powered ones. The 2-way shock of the springer's piston just knocks apart regular scopes (except maybe Leupolds); the internal bracing of the lenses, etc., isn't made to handle it. You really need a scope made specifically for airgun use. I'd hate to have you sort out the mount problem, then have your scope fall apart.
