ordered .223 Ultra Varmint rifle
« on: April 13, 2005, 04:18:02 PM »
Well I went and ordered me a new .223 Ultra Varmint rifle today. I got a question about the weight of the gun. I know H&R 's website says it weights 7 to 8 pounds, but for all thoughs that own one about how much  does yours weight with a scope on it.
Y'all take care and god bless. :D

I'd have to say closer to 9-10lbs, the rifle alone weighs over 8lbs, their 8lbs has to be rounded down.

Twas so happy with my customer service experience that I ordered a Handi Ultra  Varmint instead of a Stainless .223 T/C barrel for my endcore.

9lbs-6oz with a 4-12 Banner scope and Weaver rings. It is a heavy bugger with a 24" bull barrel.

Compared to my 257 Roberts at 7-5oz 3-9 Sightron and that used to be a  223 Ultra with a 24" bull barrel.
