.223 heavy barrel accuracy problems and trigger pull
« on: April 14, 2005, 03:52:24 AM »
Has anyone had diminished accuracy after attaching a bipod to there .223?
I attached a Rock Mount Bi Pod and feel I should be getting better groups with it, 1.5" at 100yds with Black Hills 52gr HP.
Is there any way to modify the trigger for a lighter pull?

Don't have a bipod, but my Rossi 223 Bull barrel has a very good trigger and shoots 1/2 " groups.

What are you using for ammunition. I'm getting 1.5" groups with 52 GR Black Hills HP off the bipod. Thats the best I've gotten so far. I've tried winchester white box 45 gr HP and Ultramax 52 gr HP and 55gr SP.
