The 7X57 complete rifle is at home now. THANKS Goldhound56 for your help. It is a real nice gun....This makes the 7X57, 7X64, and the 35 Whelen all in about 6 weeks.....

I don't know about the luck. My wife may not speak to me for another month. They are nice guns and I have been looking for along time. The 7x64 came out of Wisconsin, the 7x57 came from Alabama, and the 35 Whelen was only about 50 miles from home...

One Hole,
I have learned that if you wait long enough, they will all show up. It took me over a year of watching the gun shows, gun shops and internet sites to find my 7x57. And there will always be that next Handi you are looking for!!! Isn't this a great hobby?

It is my observation that the .45/70 sells alot more than the .444  I owned a .444 Marlin years ago and was awsome, neaded money story so sold it. I would love a Handi in one, but my guess is NEF doesn`t sell enough of them to warrent the production, kinda sad, but the .45/70 is a strong seller and kinda similar. Jack.

The word I got on the 444 from the factory was it was a special run made...and when it was sold out...no more made...and that the number 300 was mentioned too...so...if you see one...grab it...cause the likelyhood of finding another one anytime soon...isn't too good...
