Hey all!!  As of now we have a few here that we are considering.  Some can even be combined for our use.  I thought it would be EASY to pick a new name and then I remembered naming our daughter.  That was not a walk in the park!!  Luckily we both agreed on Audrey Joanna.  I guess we wathced Breakfast at Tiffannys one time too many.  we are still looking into a few more business names, so PLEASE post more suggestions!!

Thanks
Jeff

Jeff...

I think "Power Turf" sez it all... you sell "power" equipment for people's "turf", so it depends on whether your name ("Jeff's") will give your customers more confidence or the town's name will do so.  Or... you might wish to simply use "POWER TURF" as your primary attention getter.

The line below your company name is your company motto and should be centered under your company name and in a smaller print face.  You might even put the motto in italic print to make it stand out, but still be secondary to your company name.  If you wish, you could substitute "fix" for "service", but "service" sounds more classy.

JEFFÂ’S POWER TURF EQUIPMENT CO.
We sell the best & service the rest (centered under company name)

NEWTON POWER TURF EQUIPMENT CO.
We sell the best & service the rest  (centered)

POWER TURF EQUIPMENT CO.
We sell the best & service the rest    (centered)

NEWTON POWER TURF CO.
We sell the best & service the rest (centered)

JEFF'S POWER TURF CO.
We sell the best & service the rest  (centered)

POWER TURF CO.
We sell the best & service the rest   (centered)

actually, yes.  There will be a full report as soon as the name is finalized and the dba is in effect.   I will say that we appreciate ALL of the responses from y'all.  PLEASE be sure to read the follow up when posted.  We are also having a logo designed so I will try to post it also.

OK guys, I know the new name and I also know I did not win  :( . I just bought something from JEFFERY8MM and the return label was his business card. Nice name also, easy to remember, not to cute, and fits the business perfectly. I can wait for Jeff to spill the beans or for a small fee, or even the promise of a small fee ( :-D ) I can let you know myself. I think I will wait a little bit for Jeff to tell everyone here. By the way, Jeff is a great and honest guy to do business with!!!....<><....

Hi guys.  Sorry this is a very, very tardy reply.
We spent the summer getting rid of the parts, September dealing with the hurricane, and I kept putting this off because I still have trouble posting images.  Anyway, it occured to me this morning that I can post the link to our Stihl site and anyone interested can see the logo there.  Mr. Frosty "won", because we had picked YardQuest.  BUT, the graphic designer, in the process of creating the logo, threw in a "YardWorks" and my wife liked it better.  When she got through with it, we had what you can see at the link below:

YardWorks Outdoor Power Equipment

If any of you are ever in Newton, MS, and you submitted an "entry" in this "contest", stop and see us and we'll get you a participation consolation prize!   :-)
