For years I've been interested in shooting handguns only. I actively dissuaded myself from interest in rifles or shotguns. I don't hunt but I do love to shoot.
That was then, this is now.
I decided I shouldn't discriminate against rifles (maybe shotguns are next) and looked around for a lever gun chambered for a handgun cartridge to keep from overloading my memory and ammo cans with more calibers than I already have. This forum was very helpful in helping me get it down to the 1894SS (44 Mag in stainless) or what I wound up with the 1894C in .357 Mag/38 Spc. I wish Marlin made this model in stainless but what the hey.
Tomorrow's gonna be a .357/.38 day at the range, for sure.
Thanks for your collective help, advice, and expertise!
