Whats with the BTT. If anyone is interested they will post, you just wasted bandwidth again. POWDERMAN.
Dali Llama say he would appreciate it if powderman would not address him in such disrespectful manner.

I disrespected nobody, simply pointed out a fact. Over the years I've found that people who want to resond to a thread will do so no matter its position on the board, whether it be # 1 or #30.
Dali Llama say that, interestingly enough, he have observed the exact opposite tendencies. :-)  :-)  :-)  Dali wonder if powderman able quote study that prove forum behaviour powderman suggest? :?

Character assassination is just too easy a game to play if you are going to dump a guy just because Nancy Pelosi calls them names.

Dali Llama say that, conversely, he believe it reason to like guy if Nancy Pelosi denigrate him.

Sectarianism permeates this forum
And what do you postulate be the reason for that, inquire Dali Llama???

It's just the subject nature of the forum.  I'd guess that those interested enough in guns and hunting to search out an internet forum to discuss them would lean to the conservative side of the pendulum.  GB doesn't allow folk to voice their opinions if they are too liberal (as is his right, he's paying the bills), so the majority of the discussion here, especially in the political/general areas are hard right wingers talking about what interests them.  There are precious few moderates here from what I have observed.

Consistancy is an important virtue in my book.  If you believe something fervently, stand up and stick to it.  Be informed about your position.  Don't be afraid to discuss it, from both sides.. Those that say, "I believe X, that's how it is.  I don't wanna hear what you may have to say about it." IMO are afraid to explain their position for fear of being swayed or even proven wrong.

Powderman is NOT one of these.  I asked him to explain his position on another subject and he did, in detail, calmly, and without insulting comments.  He does get a little excited once in a while but I don't hold that against him.... much..  :)  :)

I disagree with him on some things, but I respect him none-the-less.

Dali Llama say he appreciate Haywire Haywood response, and think that latter generally hit proverbial nail on head. :-)
