From your description the perfect gun would be a S&W .357 K-frame. Not as heavy as a big .44 mag, or the Redhawk in .45, and can be loaded to handle 'bout any ranch chore. Plus, yuou can easily get it with a 3", 4", or 6" barrel. Why did you exclude this caliber? :shock:
