could someone pass along some load data for the 204 using H-4895 powder , I found data on this powder at the hodgdon site I just want to verify that its right

Sierra lists H 4895 for their 32gr Blitzking as 3500/25.8, 3600/26.3, 3700/26.8, 3800/27.2, and 3900/27.7 Max. the 39gr Blitzking is 3200/24.1, 3300/24.7, 3400/25.3, 3500/25.9, and 3600/26.5 Max.

Thanks for the links -- ------Did you guys notice the variation in data. for H-4895 , 32 gr. bullet

Hodgdon-- 27.0---29.0 === 3669---3980 fps 24'' bbl.

Sierra --- 26.3---27.7 === 3600---3900 fps 26 bbl

Hornady--- 25.3--- 28.4 === 3600---4100 fps 26'' bbl

So min start is from 25.3 to 27.0 and max could be 27.7 to 29 seems like quite a spread. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THESE FIGUIRES BEFORE USING

Different bullet profiles can cause different pressure concerns. 1-grain difference in maximum loads and a 200-fps spread is interesting. Its hard to say whos jiving who in that data.

With the same powder lot, primers and bullets the data will very quite a bit do to temp. and air presure. I losd several different wildcatsand when looking for the fastest loads i will always work them up in very hot weather when presures are greatest. Hot loads worked up in cold weather are boombs in hot weather.
