SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Curtis Dean Anderson lured 7-year-old Xiana Fairchild into his car with the promise of a visit to Disneyland, then held her captive for three weeks, raping her and renting her out to other child molesters before killing her and burying her body, investigators recounted at his preliminary hearing.
Anderson, 44, already is serving a life sentence for kidnapping another girl who escaped and helped lead police to him. He's pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, kidnapping and sexual assault in the death of Xiana, who disappeared in Vallejo in December 1999 while on her way to school.

Anderson told police that after he got Xiana into his car, he knocked her out and drove her to the room he rented in a San Jose boarding house.
"He said he had sex with her every day, and when she started to cry, he would whip her," Vallejo police officer James Mathews testified Monday. "He said the first time she fought back, and he gave her drugs to subdue her."

Ray Medved, a retired district attorney's investigator who was a member of the task force that cracked the case, said that at one point Anderson began "renting out" the girl for drugs and money.

During a 2001 interview, Anderson referred cryptically to a chilling "snatch, murder and toss" scenario, said another prosecution witness, Deputy Richard Rutman of the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department. Rutman said Anderson neither confirmed nor denied killing Xiana.

Rutman testified that in another interview he asked Anderson what could possibly justify the molestation and murder of a 7-year-old girl. Anderson's response: "Depends on what she did. Sometimes they have it coming."

Anderson's public defenders, Ken Mandel and Miguel Rodriguez, tried to show that Anderson's brother, Zack, and a friend, Brian Goodan, also had access to the room where Xiana was held.

Anderson, who was diagnosed with colon cancer last year, sat in a wheelchair a few yards from Xiana's relatives in a Santa Clara County courtroom.

Take this SOB out behind the court house and shoot him, or throw him in with the general population in prision, they know how to deal with his kind.

This is my own personnal opinion.

I've seen real executions over in Turkey, and other Middle Eastern countrys. It's hard to watch, and really wrentches your gut. But talk about a deterrent to crime, I think it's the best. But our society would never permit it. That's one of the reasons punishments are dealt out in public in so many middle eastern countries. They understand it's value in deterring crime. There virtually is no shoplifting over there, and you always know how tried it and got caught, they are the ones with the missing right hands.

Letting him meet Bubba, may not be as good as you think. Someone wierd like that would probably get to liking it too much after a couple of times. That would be too good for him. I have to agree with others. Execution would be the only way.

I'd love to be a prosecutor in a case like that. I'd try to show the jury the sheer terror of a 7 year old child.Our kids depend on us for protection from Godless subhumans like that. The terror in that childs mind as she wonders where her mommy and daddy are, why don't they come and get me? The mental anguish alone would be devastating, let alone the physical torture her tiny body endured. Cold and hungry? Wondering when he would return, what else he would do to her. Wondering if she would ever see her mom and dad again. Being beaten and raped daily for 3 weeks is beyond belief for any female, let alone a 7 year old child.
Subhumans like him should be castrated to make sure he NEVER has a sexual release again during his stay in prison. His stay should be made as unpleasant as possible as long as he lives. His execution should take place without delay. I see no reason for my tax dollars to be spent feeding and clothing this POS the rest of his life. Even though he deserves a slow, painful, death, he should be executed immediately, and publicly. This case really got under my skin, I can almost hear that childs cries as she was being brutalized by that Godless SOB. Hope he gets his soon. Powderman, and All. Even tho not related to this child in anyway, after reading the news artical it just lit my fire and pushed a revenge button in my mind. I have grand daughters and grandsons age 2 to 20, if any of them were ever harmed and they caught the person before I did, they would have a hard time trying to keep me out of where this person was jailed. I would commit a crime just to get me locked up with them. The next crime I committed would be of a very hiddious(sp) nature to this person. They would never be able to commit another crime because the only 2 moving parts on their body would be their bowles and eyes.

Sorry for the rant but this crime just lit a roaring fire in me.

These child molesters should be put to death. There are two such cases now that just happened here in Okla. After the first charge of any type of child molestation, the offenders should be put to death right now, that way they wont be able to get out of jail and do it again. First offense, then the death penalty. No second chances.
If some of these crimes happened to our liberal judges kids, and grandkids, then they would make sure their wouldn`t be a second crime.

It certainly changed the complexion of the neighborhood having him move in. I think most folks know about him now...just need to tell a few folks and word gets around pretty quickly. I would assume the business would suffer as well.

at least in the states criminals actually get punished. Karla Holmolka is up for release, and how many girls did her and Bernardo torture, rape and kill? she should be put up against a wall and shot. the Canadian justice system is FUBAR.

on Saturday night a friend of mine was involved in a head on collision. the driver of the other car was drunk and the car was stolen. he walked away unscathed. my friend is in the hospital with a busted rib and broken leg that will require surgery to insert steel pins. of the 3 other people in her car one wasn't as lucky, she's dead at the age of 24. what will happen to the drunk car thief? nothing most likely. in this country he's the real victim, and it's societys fault he's the way he is. it makes me sick. :x :x :x

can't remember the full story myself, but her and her husband pual bernardo tortured,raped and murdered a number of teenage girls about 10 years ago. because she turned crowns evidience and testifyed against him she got of easy. she's been granted parole and is supposedly moving into a suburb of Montreal, her prespective neighbour , obviously, are fiercely opposed to the idea. if scum like this was moving into my nieghbourhood i'd be there with the welcome wagon AKA a .303 and a clear line of sight. it's not murder, it's garbage disposal. she should have been put against a wall and shot in the first place. and i never believe the crap these people keep saying,"in prison i found Jesus, i'm a changed person, i wouldn't harm a flea know,"... BULLSH*T

if i seem irritible, just read the other half of my previous post and you'll see why. when did a life sentence come to mean 5-10 years, with time of for good behaviour? it's supposed to mean the rest of your life IE you die inside. end of story.

Nice try fwed but I think any description would not make GB very happy! Powderman answered it in a safe way. I have used that saying many times in the past but I think a description is not warranted here.
