Saw a few messages from December about a Shapleigh's King Nitro Rifle. Wanted to know if anyone has any more information about the company who made them. The rifle I have has Diamond Arms Co. on the side also.

Hello,
Shapleighs King Nitro was made by Stevens Firearms Co. (just as Springfield was also).

If i'm not mistaken, Shapleigh was a big hardware company based in St. Louis. I have a King Nitro 20 gauge sxs made by Stevens but other arms may have been made by other companies.
