...found 2 Smith's in a pawn shop....
« on: April 23, 2005, 06:30:34 AM »
I found a 6" Model 57... no end play, can't push the hammer off the sear, ejector rotation is straight, and the crane fits snug as a bug..hard to find a blemish on the bluing....can get for $400

Also a 8 3/8 Model 27 with a little holster wear or whatever and solid too..$430...

Are these fair prices? That's there bottom dollar; I've already had them reduced.

Seems like a fair price, not a steal, but fair.  Does either come with a box?

My preference is the M57, and I would pick it up at the price you quoted and be bragging about it by now.

Sounds like a fair price to me. Did you get it? Probably won't be there long. :D
