SC makes a very nice American made 1.5 coil. Heavy and strong, smooth jaws,...you will not be disapointed. I think there is an aniversary model this year with a PIT pan?

I use more sc 1 1/2s for coon than anything else right now, and I really like them. Very well made, strong, and nearly ready out of the box. I just night latch and go.

I think the SC 1-1/2 is a very decent little trap for coons. I like them on fox, too.
