Fire-forming load for 7mm TCU

I'll soon be purchasing a Contender barrel in 7mm TCU.  This will be my first wildcat cartridge.  I have brass and dies on the way, and I was wondering what would be a good fire-forming load.  Does it matter what bullet weight to use?  I don't really know where to start.  I've looked in four different manuals to see if there's one or two "best" powders for this cartridge, but there are too many to choose from.  Can (should) I use the same powder for fire-forming that I use for working up a load?  Also, what kind of accuracy can be expected from fire-forming loads.  I don't have my mind made up yet as to barrel length.  I'm not even sure if I'll be hunting with this barrel, or if it's just something to "tinker" with.  I love the idea of metallic silhouette, but competing is out of the question for me.  I'd greatly appreciate any advise you guys could give me.  Thanks.

I use a cast 130gr GC bullet (Lee) and either 14 gr. of 2400 or 16.4 gr of H110 reg rem pri's in Non military cases. Give abt 1700 to 1750 fps in my 10" er. These shoot so good that I keep some loaded up wether I'm forming or not ... Marty

Just load, a starting or medium power load for your choice of powder and bullet.  This will fireform it with no problem, usually these loads will be almost as good, as a fireformed  case in accuracy as well !!!   Be certain to back off your die a bit, so not to push back shoulder.

 This round kills far better, than most people think.  My 2 cents
