MnMike, thanks for the update. I really had no idea at all. The area around here has few winchester shotguns and not too many rifles.. Mostly remington.. I have not idea why.. The local shops seem to carry 4-5 remington rifles for each winchester. In any case it's something that's good to know. How did you reach the conclusion, tried one on for fit?
