BSA BKL compatibility TF99
« on: April 27, 2005, 01:49:23 PM »
Hi, I am about to purchase a bsa scope (probably a 2-7X32) for a TF 99. I am new to airguns in general and was wondering what type of BKL mount would be neccessary and the best place to purchase them. I am looking for a cheaper mount. (I know that BKL is not the cheapest but aren't they a good idea for a springer because of the recoil?)

BTW I think I found a great price on the scope: http://www.productwizard.com/bsaopairrisc1.html

Thanks

Those are excellent prices on BSA air rifle approved scopes.  The BKL mounts/rings I use are the 200 series Double Strap Scope Rings Code: #263.  You can see them at the BKL site at http://bkltech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=BKL&Product_Code=263&Category_Code=200.  They really hold under the double recoil you get with springer rifles.  Lawdog

Great thanks Lawdog that was everything I needed. If everything goes as planned I will have it all ordered shortly.
