Bigfoot sightings and reports

I think there are more sightings than reported.  I think most are afraid to report sightings and bigfoot encounters.  What do you think?   BigBill

Hi BigBill, :D

I think I would be reasonably safe to say that a good portion of credible Sasquatch/Bigfoot reports up here in British Columbia are never published or appear on television. I have, however,  found that people who have had a possible encounter with Sasquatch/Bigfoot are not only scared of being humiliated or thought of as crazy, but most don't realize that they have actually had a run in with an unknown creature.

Something I said to a friend who mocked me for saying I believe they excist..."we are both avid outdoorsmen...spent our whole youth in the woods and mountains of VA...thats over 50 years combined years...right...ok, we have seen black bears, beavers, bald eagles, hawks, deer, skunks, coons, owls, and wild turkeys(both the bird and the bottle)...but how many bobcats have we seen, none.  Why...they hide well, they are not normaly seen unless they want to be...now, a 7 foot ape that looks like a sniper guli suit...that would be alot smarter then a bobcat...why would it be hard for it to hide...we have had coyotes here for over 10 years...and people just started seeing them recently...and thats just a dog...a primate...dude...its amazing anyone has seen one...I say almost dumb luck(or odd fate)...

I also asked him if he had ever seen something in his life he could not explain...he said yes...I asked him if he ever told anyone...he said no because folks would say he was nuts or lieing...I rested my case...

The Late Bigfoot researcher and scientist, Dr Grover Krantz estimated that only 1 sighting in a 100 is ever reported....Ridicule can be a very powerful silencer; No one wants to be thought of as crazy or gullible... There are, on various Bigfoot internet sites and in books, over 1000 reported sightings from Oregon alone, going back to the early 19th century....If Dr Krantz is right, then there have been over 100K sightings in Oregon alone....For several years, I been asking people here in Oregon if they'd had a sighting or knew someone who had....I've gathered over 40 accounts, going back as far as the early 50s...Only one had been reported to the media or the "authorities".
