Does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive kit like this? If so, please let me know the site. Thanks.

How much is "relatively inexpensive"?

Many of the less expensive kits have rather low quality locks and might be more of a frustration than anything.

You can go onto Track of the Wolf's site and order, for example, a Leman rifle kit in flint with full stock and you'll be around $400.

Track offers a trade musket kit for around $550.00. This is probably the least expensive quality smoothbore kit available. It makes up into a very useful and versatile gun. You can vary the barrel length and use either maple or cherry or walnut for the stock. Walnut is the correct wood if you are looking historical correctness. Just type track of the wolf into your browser window and you should get there. Look under Gun Kits. Enjoy.

Thanks for the info. In reguards to price, I do not have a set figure. My percussion guns though are very inexpensive Tradition and CVA's. I know they are nothing fancy, but have suited me well for 10 years almost.  I found a New England Fowler from MVTC that I really like. Below is the link. Does anyone know much about these? Thanks.

My guess is that they are made in India. Quality on India made guns has been variable to say the least. The doglock fowler looks to be fairly well made, but it is hard to be certain from photographs.

India  For a little more dough, you can get a TVM and be made here. My next long gun will be a TVM. Jack.
