Took my dad to Gander Mountain today !!!!!

He wanted to get a revolver that was smaller then his Smith & Wesson 357 Mag. "Highway Patrolman" (I think its a model 28, not sure). He bought a brand new Smith & Wesson model 60. Its a 5 shot 357 Mag. with a 3 inch barrel. I tried to talk him into getting a 1911 of some sort, but he's a "wheel gun" kind of guy! :grin:

There is just something about those wheel guns that some guys can't get away from.  I shoot Glock now, but wish I had my SW 357 also.

My wife and I went back to Gander Mountain last night and I put a Springfield 1911 on layaway. I went with the "Stainless PX9151L 45 ACP Loaded Pistol". I'll pick it up in a week or so! :toast:
