Tasco EXP 3 x 9 scope--question

i picked up this scope from the local pawn shop for 25 bucks ==rubber coated.....is this a pretty good scope....thought about putting it on my Handi rifle in 45-70........what you think??,,,,,,i see the scope retails fro about $189
