Left Handed Rimfire Options-Anyone Have a Suggestion?
« on: May 03, 2005, 08:39:28 AM »
I would like a bolt action rimfire, caliber really doesn't matter, but I guess 1st choice would be .17 HMR.  I would really like something akin to the new Remington model 504.  That is a clean barrel (no sights), flush clip, nice wood stock and of course left handed.  Does anyone have any suggestions.

I know that Savage makes one, but the wood on it doesn't thrill me.  I wonder if aftermarket wood is available.  Laminate would be perfect.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I have just taken delivery of a left handed Cooper 57m bolt action in .22lr.   The gun is available in the .17 left handed.  Dakota Arms also makes a .22.  I believe that CZ is now bringing in a left handed rimfire.   Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Curly,

Can you tell me if that Cooper 57M was purchased directly from the company or did you have to get it through a retailer.  Can you also tell me if it was indeed in the $1,400 price range that they quote on their website?

Thanks,

Smoky
