Here are a couple of mine. The coehorn is an 2 3/4 "SBR barrel with a laminated black ash plock and iron furniture. I put together a tool limber including a slow match rope igniter. Kinda loud though.

The howitzer is a hydraulic ram with a wooden base. Shoot "C " cell batteries like hell won't have it. Thanks for looking, JeffG

COOL pix. Nice touches on the ram rods, worms and cleaning brushes. Nice touch with the box for the stuff that goes with it too.

On each of the batteries I think you'll see "dispose of properly". That's right much proper!

very cool mini how. you got there (-: do the batteries stabilize in flight (if you can even see track them by any means available that is) or do they tumble?

No they tumble, backwards from what I can see, like a football field goal.

no electronics i have use C batteries that i can think of... what is their diameter? would a 12 gram co2 cannister fit? i bet that would get some better aerodynamics going. again, i don't know a C battery diameter.

The small C02 cylinders are 3/4" in diameter - they fit a 12ga cylinder bore shotgun just right and don't tumble as far as you can see them fly - but the get out of sight very fast. Don't ask. I was in High School back then anyway. If you try it you will be as stupid as I was - ya' gotta be tough if you're stupid.
