I have a new stock that was a replacement by t/c on my New Englander 54 cal.
T/C did replace the stock with a black mountain walnut stock ,seem the old style New Englander are not around any longer ,but I did purchase one used (N.O.S.)in excellent shape,now the t/c stocks has never been used ,just sits in the gun safe.I would like to make a 58 cal. flinter out of it ,remember the New Englander has a round barrel and a hook tang breech is there a Green Mountain Barrel in a flinter that will fit the stock?
