smokinjoe - that sure looks nice - what's that caliber?  Haven't heard of it before - what is the base cartridge and do you know what the ballistics are??  Thanks.  Mikey.

The cartridge is a 2.2" made from the .45-90 or an overdrawn .45-70 with a one caliber neck.
.411-350 @ 2275
With a 150 zero it's 8 low at 200 and still delivers one ton of energy to 250 yds

Howdy Pards
I have 1895 Malin down to Craig Rittenhouse's right now being relined and chamber for the 40-65 Win.
Plan on using 275gr to 325gr.bullets got to test it to see what weight will shoot the best.
