Hi all,
I am new to reloading, and have a question on taper-crimping. I need any info you guys can give me on this subject (all the do's and dont's).
I am reloading for 9mm.

No biggie...just use enough taper to keep the bullet from moving around.

Don't over crimp since that will change the bullet diameter and make them keyhole(tumble). Use a straight edge and rest the loaded round against the edge and adjust the crimp until the daylight disappears. The belled case mouth will make a gap where the light will pass through when held against a straight edge and a perfect taper will be straight down without any light getting past. A good taper can correct feeding and accuracy problems and increase velocity.

With 9mm I just set the crimp to remove the bell in the mouth.
