I just checked my e-mail and found my private messages.
Thanks very much to all of you who responded!!
I will keep everyone here informed on my progress. I've started to build a "modest schuetzen rifle". Those of you who get the Single Shot Rifle Journal will know what I mean.
It will be a breech-seater chambered in 32-40 or 25-20 (I haven't decided yet). I'm excited to start using my new lathe and shaper!!
I've finally build a side mount breech seater tool for my 357 handi. I'll try to keep everybody posted on how well that is working. This tool allows a shooter to seat the cast-lead bullet into the rifling just ahead of the chamber. This method delivers superior performance with the lead bullets I like to use. It is a traditional target shooters method going back to the 1880's. Don't do it unless you know what you're doing, and if you don't know, ASK.
Take care and thanks again,
Dean
