 Dear shooters...

Do any of you guys know of anyone that makes lightweight mounts to fit the anschtutz 1710 and a weaver T series fixed 36 power.  I am looking for a mount/rings or set of rings that would weigh in total 2 or 3 ounces.

BKL have the reach forward mounts but they weigh almost 4 ounces.

drop me a reply if you have any ideas.

According to their web site, BKL #257 rings weigh 2.2 oz.  These work very well with 1" dia scope tubes and Anschutz 11mm grooves.  And FWIW, I've never known BKL rings to mark a scope tube.

But are you really sure you need to go that light?  I have a 1710 MC with Burris Signature rings on a BKL riser, Leupold VX III 6.5-20 scope, and have no trouble at all making weight.

hi i have a 1710d mister grade that just makes weight. i needed to remove the open sights and sling swivels.the rifles has a 24x leupold brd. for mounts i found the lightest are TALLEY RING MOUNTS.they are made for the 54 action.good looking mounts that fit great
                                                                   good luck

I was checking out tally rings wesbsite..tried to call but no answer.  Do you know the lightest weight possible for their mounts that would suit the setup i have.  2 oz or under would be ideal as long as they are strong and would shift in the heat.

I just got a set of the Low Talley Rings for my 1712.  They weighed 1.9 ounces on my scale.  Now I make weight easily with a little to spare.
