7th National Open Rendezvous 2005
« on: May 17, 2005, 02:45:22 PM »
"For lovers of history, Millmerran is the place to be from 27 June 2005 to 3 July 2005 for the 7th National Open Rendezvous hosted by Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (Qld) Inc at their Captains Mountain complex, located 21 km west of Millmerran on the Gore Highway."

A little far for me to drive but sounds like fun!

Got to like the term "demi-cannon" (half-scale cannon or scale cannon?).

Anyone know what a "Sausage sizzle and bush ball" is?

One unfortunate thing I noticed are references to Australia's super strict weapons laws:

Quote
The 2005 SSAA Queensland State Cannon Championships will be held in conjunction with the 7th National Open Rendezvous and will be open to all SSAA members in good standing who have available equipments, suitable for the various categories, which are tested and registered.

These equipments must come within the limits agreed by the Queensland Police Weapons Licensing Branch as laid down in the SSAA Cannon and Coehorn Mortar Rules.
