Aging Cat glands?
« on: May 22, 2005, 03:05:06 PM »
I have 2 qts. of ground cat clands that are starting to build gass. My question is do I add a preservative to age them, or just let the gasses escape. I don't want them to rot just age.
Lifes a trap bed, dig it!

If they are just where you want them, add sodium benzoate to stop further taint.

Agree with bogmaster, add sodium benzoate now and let them age in a cool dark place until they quit working completely.  Ace
