In the never ending saga of the story of Steve versus cottontail rabbit, you may be amazed to learn I have caught that smart rabbit in a Havahart trap using a dried up old carrot! In my small backyard, close to my nine blueberry bushes he was destroyoing, I put one big Havahart trap big enough to catch coons. I put 5 Conibear 110s, and buried 3 small legholds. None of the Conibears or legholds were tripped last night! At dawn, I looked out the window and saw him in the Havahart. I will never know how he managed to miss all the traps that would dispatch him.
Then I went back to bed and told my wife and....... Well, I went to work with a smile on my face! :wink:
