Was wondering if anybody has tried this round in the Handi's.
They are on sale at MidwayUSA for $9.74/ box. They normally are $14.49/ box.
I ordered myself a few boxes.

I saw a 223 barrel on ebay and thats all the guy shot out of his. He was gettin bout 1/2 in groups with his.

Nope, haven't gotten it broken in yet. You know, 40 hour work week, come home, other chores to do. Just got my 40 inch carbon fiber cleaning rod today. Have the barrel sitting right now with Butches Bore Shine. Then after that have to use JB Bore paste. Then after that I can shoot 20 rnds again. That will make 40 rnds. Only 80 more rnds to go.

I hope I can get this thing ready by the time I reach Oklahoma. After Friday, I'm off for TWO Whole Weeks. :shock: Also recieved 10 boxes of the Federal 55gr. BTHP today.

I Hope my Ultra .223 likes those 55 grainers as well as that fella on ebay. If not, Well I got plenty of the Win. White Box 45 grainers.

i have a suggestion, you might want to try the remington UMC 55 gr. FMJ. They're about $4 a box at walmart and they shoot pretty good out of my 22in bull barrel.

That fella was shooting Federal soft points, not hollow points.

I'm looking for an expanding bullet for the PD shoot out in OK next week.
Also was looking for a little heavier bullet to buck the wind out there. But that sounds good for cheap plinking at the range. My AR Varminter seems like it might like the PMC FMJ/BT for the same price, I'll just have to wait and see. THANKS.

No biggie, just didn't want folks reading this thread down the road to buy something that may not work as well.... :roll: Personally, I don't think anyone can go wrong with the win whitebox ammo at $12-$14 for 40 or 50 of em.
