for muzzle velocities if i were to use "PMC 350 grain ammo" in my guide gun as suggested in another thread?  im just curious....i realize the short barrel allows for some of the powder to burn beyond the muzzle where it's useless.  isn't most factory ammo tested with a 24" barrel to gain the highest #'s on their product?

yeah im certain that ammo is going to be more than sufficient for what im using it for, i was just curious about the performance in general.

The PMC +p+ or 350 grain HA shoots about and inch in my 1895 ss.........It's way more than I need, but it shoots so well it's hard to shoot the softer stuff........
