I know Ive seen it on here, but I could not find it.
Where can I get instructions on modifying the trigger pull of my encore??

I just got done putting the #5 pring in my Encore a few days ago and man is that trigger sweet. It was 3# from the factory, which wasn't bad for factory. Don't know what it is now with the #5, but it IS LITE.

After setting the overtravel and all, I really like it. I may have to go to the #4 spring in the winter, or simply go to the #4 now and shoot the same pull year round...haven't decided.

I will say the factory trigger is not bad on my encore. it is just about right for hunting. I find it every bit as good as my contender.

I noticed my trigger was changing on my stainless encore and began to look for reasons. Found the screw that is just above the trigger had backed out about two turns over time but looked normal. Strange as it may seem, when I tightened it back (added a thread lock), it made the trigger as good or better than when it was new.

Check your frames for loose screws!

I think that is good advice. I like tinkering with my guns and often find problems before they present. Nothing is more frustrating than have a strange problem in the field or at the range.
