Nikon Sunshades?

I see where the Buckmaster series now have sunshades available in both 40 and 50 millimeter for the 3-9, 4.5-14 and 6-18 models.  My question is this.  Does anyone know if the shade for a BM will fit a similarly sized Monarch?  I have a 3-9x40 Monarch that I would like a shade for is why I am asking.  Sent Nikon an email but no response as yet.

The answer is...............................................NO they won't fit the Monarchs!
