Personally I'd consider it outrageously high. The last one I picked up in .35 Rem. looked almost as if new. No way to really tell it had even been fired altho I'm sure it has. It too had a scope on it, don't recall the brand but not an expensive scope. It's an older model with no cross bolt safety which to me at least is worth more than the newer ones with the safety. I paid $250 total out the door.

What GB said.  You can buy new for less than that...I think.

I saw a very nice Marlin 336C pre cross bolt saftey .35 Remington in a local store near here priced at $285...no scope......this was 5 or 6 months ago........Depending on the scope, it could be an ok deal............I think I'd find out a little more about the bushnell, as if it were an elite 3200 or 4200 it might be worth the price......depending on the scope it could be a great deal......have a look at the optic zone's website.......Jon has very good prices on new bushnells that should give you an idea what the scope would cost new........I'd then subtract at least 30% for a used scope in like new condition........

 Way high actually.. A couple years ago I  was sorely tempted at a gun show and lost the battle.. I picked up a near mint 1965 Marlin in .35 Rem with a Redfield Wide 4 power scope and seven boxes of factory Rem and Win ammo for about $330.. I felt fortunate to find one in that condition.
