Hey Wes, where to buy licenses???
« on: May 27, 2005, 09:55:38 AM »
This "might" have been asked and answered before but I looked thru the posts on both pages and didn't see a subject that looked like it covered it. Ain't reading back thru ALL the threads just to see iffen I can find it and my CRS has made me forget iffen I ever knew.

So dang it whar we gonna buy the licenses? Is there a place in either Guymon or Hooker that will have enough out of state licenses for all of us or should we try to pick them up somewhere along the way before we arrive? Will Wal-Marts have them like in most states? Is there a Wal-Mart in Guymon or Hooker?

Well I ain't Wes by any stretch of the imagination here, but I think Im safe in saying that all the Wally Worlds in OK sell licenses as do most bait and tackle stores, some convenience stores, most tackle dealers. You won't have a problem finding a place and I'm sure there are enough licenses in Guymon - Hooker to accomadate our bunch of P-Doggers. :D

Bill I bought mine last weekend at wal mart in Blackwell. Its about 3 hours east of Guymon.

If there is any Walmart around there they should have.

Cost for a 5 day non res. is $47.50.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner Bill.

The easiest and most convenient way to get a license is to go to www.wildlifedepartment.com and buy one online.

If you don't want to do that, there is a Wal Mart in Guymon that sells them, and I think the Lumber Yard in Hooker does too.  I don't know how late the Lumber Yard stays open though.  If you get in late enough Thursday that the Lumber Yard is closed, you'll have to go over to Guymon to buy it.
