Where to Buy FR8 .308?

I was at the range today.  One guy was shooting a surplus Spanish Mauser which had been re-barreled to .308.  It looked and shot great.

I have done a little research on those guns.  It seems like there was a bunk of them out there, but the sources are drying up.

Can anyone tell me where to buy one??

They have dried up unless you find one at a gun show or what pawn shop/gunshop ect. The major milsurp dealers do not show them anymore. Not saying they may a new batch in the future but for now things are limited. Jim

They show up occasionally on the gun auction sites, or the other collector gun boards that have the CETME/FR8 forums.
They aren't really too very hard to find.   8)

$400 shipped firm...cleaning kit in tube...bayo...correct sling...12 stripper clips....front sight tool...98% finish...stock 95%...couple dings...

Bolt does not match receiver (28 off...many were like this)

For what its worth Dennis Just sold one for this price at Empire Arms.

SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-27723 (7.62x51) mfg. by La Coruña in 1950. Near Excellent condition, with 90% Parkerized metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. Matching bolt, wood has been nicely refinished and has nice grain. Includes correct web-sling and correct bayonet & scabbard (not pictured). PHOTOS . . . $275.  C&R   SOLD
