I seen from their web site that during the 4th quarter of this year, they will be offering a 32 H&R Magnum lever gun in stainless and blue for under $400. Does anyone have one of their rim fire levers and if so, how do you like it? What's confusing is that part of the ad reads that it's a pump and the headline reads that it's a lever gun. Plus there are conflicting magazine capacities. Any Taurus owners feel free to chime in.

The only pictures shown are all of a Colt Lightening copy. A pump.

Yes, I know that but the pseudo Lighting isn't the gun I'm talking about.

The guns are actually Rossi's not Taurus. Yeah the two companies merged but Rossi not Taurus is the one making them. Nice guns I have a couple of them in .45 Colt and .357 Magnum. Pretty much ALL of the Winchester Model 92 clones out there are Rossi's. They've been making them a long time.

Thanks Graybeard. Now, I hope they materialize as lever guns and not the pumps. I have a feeling they are going to be like the Model 62 gallery gun if they are offered as pumps.

My wife's favorite caliber is .45 Colt. A pump in that caliber might be just the trick to sneaking another gun into the safe. :grin: I'd better hide the ammo for a little while, though.

I would enjoy having one of the 32 cal. leverguns. Talking about the pumps reminds me how much I would like to have a Timberwolf in .357.

After a little snooping around the Taurus site: begin to think of a Win 62A pump in .32H&R converted to LEVER activation with a fixed forearm, tube loading, weighing about 4.5 lbs, with an MSRP of $327...

If the guns are just Rossi with Taurus stamped on them - it sure is taking them a long time to get them out of production. If there wasn't a significant difference between the two I would think they would have been out a long time ago.

Go to www.taurususa.com and click on the "what's new" button, then go to "New Rifles" scrolling down will bring you to a link for a Model 32 in blue and SS that don't have an image available yet.
There isn't another listing for any other M32 in any other caliber, so don't know if it's just a M62Lever for a centerfire, or

?

The specs listed on the Taurus site match the description of the M62L (image under .22LR).
