What ammo should we have for a rimfire? I was thinking of bringing my old .22 rifle for close shots earlier in the day. I have always shot the plain lead round nosed bullets. Will they be OK, or should I get some hollow points?

Any ideas?

I'm bringing a S &W Model 41 pistol myself....I'm using Remy Golden Bullet Hollow points... But I'd think what ever shoots the best in your rifle Ed

Use HPs. The round is notorious for ricochets anyway. The HPs will lessen that some and have much better stopping power. The plain lead RN likely will kill them but most will drag themselves off rather than die on the spot. You'll likely also need to make head or chest shots with the round even with HPs.

Ed if you don't find out the answer to your question on when and where for the prize give aways from Wes contact me for my cell phone number so you can reach us Saturday to find out. I'm not sure I have your cell number either. PM or e-mail me and we'll swap cell numbers.
