i've asked this question before but i think it was on the H&R site so i want to see what kind of shots all the new blood has made .

QUESTION IS: whats your best or longest shot with a NEF/H&R?


mine would be 320 yards (really 319) on a doe with the 30-06 shooting a 150gr SST. (longest)

my best shot would be a double i got on some wild dog while deer hunting with the 7mm-08 and it was a true double (i only fired one shot) :sniper: best i've ever done.

Well this will be my first year hunting with the handi rifle  although I have made some long range shots (300 yrds plus is long range to me). So far with the two handi rifles I own I would have to say my dime size group at 100 yrds with my .223 ultra is my best shot.

270yd shot on a stationary Yote.  Bang/ Flop right through the neck.  I could not believe that I did it.

Nothing with my new Handi's yet...but with my first Topper 30-30...using IMR 3031...Winchester Super Speed Cases...and a 125 gr Sierra SP...310 yards tapped yards(pre-rangefinder days :) ...)on a large yote...it too was a bang flip...flipped him right over...up until I got my 30-06 Ultracomp barrel...it was my most accurate Handi...

225 lased yards on a PD with my 17HMR.  Held 2 dogs into the wind.
1 shot 1 kill.  Yee-Haa!
