as in the previous thread......the stump in this picture is the same...i now have at least 10 bear coming into my bait station here.  6 cubs between young of the year and 1.5 years old....2 sows and 2 boars.

i have one advantage on judging this bear...ive seen his droppings....so ill refrain in saying till i see a couple guesstimates.

wijim.

You haven't made it much easier for these old eyes but i will still say 250 but it could be cloaser to in the range of 200 plus. Its really hard for me to tell for sure. The one thing i can say is that its a young bear. Get some platform scales and place them under that tree and keep a moving camra so we will know LMAO. Jim you need to feed him- her up for next season then we will know for sure Good luck........Joe..........

my guess

my guess is a bit heavier.  he's leaving volswagon size piles right now...lol and i got a 5" pad track from him/her.  im also guessin boar because in a couple other pics i got in succession on the same night showed a sow and three 1.5 year old cubs at the stump at the same time....when he showed up...they left..i could be wrong...but being just on the pre breeding time of the year it could stand to reason he's lookin a bit but she aint havin any part of it.  i agree he's young, but his legs are thick n stubby....which makes me think spring weight to be around 250-270.

keep watching though..i just set up a bait over the weekend at my buddy's farm where there have been a few bruisers (300-350 range and 2 500 were shot there last year) hanging out.  only reason i was baitin the site pictured so early is because its behind my house by about 650 yards.  its fun to see game in your own neighborhood..lol

Looks about like the same size as the other one. About 225 to 250 lbs.  :D

It's a healthy young bear. Maybe 200 but that is pushing it. I've seen and shot many bears, some in the 500 + range. You can't tel for sure unless they have been weighed (I've weighed a bunch) This is not a shooter but fun to watch
